The Right Kind of Warcraft Leveling Guide

Warcraft Gold GuideI came across a new product just a couple days ago at WarcraftFormula.com that is actually a bit different from all the other WoW leveling guides out there right now. It’s not a guide for anything in particular – so it’s not only for leveling, gold making, PvP, or anything else. However, I think it may still end up being a fairly useful resource for most of you out there who are looking to improve upon those very areas.

The site is run by Brad Johnson and T Dub Sanders, two guide writers you might have heard of. Brad put together Warcraft Millionaire and a profession guide under the same title. T Dub did the PvP Bible – probably the best PvP guide on the market right now – and WotLK Secrets. They decided to come together on this one, using the “both of best worlds” angle to sell the product. It actually seems to have worked as the Warcraft Formula product is pretty decent from both angles.

Here’s the premise – you start out by paying ONLY $17. That initial payment gets you quite a bit. First, there’s a guide that is admittedly pretty useless for anyone that’s been around for a while – an Action Plan that guides players through setting up an account with their main, UI mods, alts, gear, guild signups, and end-game setups. It’s a great resource, but probably more so for casuals looking to get deeper into the game. Along with this though you get a monthly eBook that Brad and T Dub put out that contains about 30 pages of content on everything that happened in the last month in the game. In January for example, the guide talked about the upcoming 3.0.8 patch, gold making strategies at 2 months, and Death Knight nerfs and buffs. You get the current guide and all existing guides when you signup and then with a $17 monthly fee you get each guide monthly.

Coming from two consummate pros and produced to provide a wide variety of different bits of content each month covering everything from gold making and raiding to PvP (there’s a monthly PvP feature), the guide is pretty solid content and the price is definitely reasonable. If you’re looking for more up to date, pointed strategies each month, this is a good place to start.

Account Bound Items in Wrath of the Lich King

Wrath of the Lich King isn’t just another expansion to World of Warcraft. There are many new features that change the game play, the way you quest and what happens to those epics you don’t want or need anymore. WotLK Secrets has documented all these changes and a great deal more. Taken from the WotLK Beta servers and updated regularly as the new things are added WotLK Secrets helps you prepare for something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.

Are you prepared to re-ignite your love affair with the World of warcraft?

Here is just a small sample of the type of WotLK information that although public knowledge isn’t spoke about much but will impact they way you roll for loot in a group now.

With almost every new addition to the World of Warcraft universe, people start to ask if there will be new item or weapon content added to match. The truth is that there are already thousands of different weapons and armor pieces and that the rarity has already pushed prices into the stratosphere for many items. However, with Wrath of the Lich King on the way, the buzz has started back up and this time, there appears to be some truth behind it all with the addition of Heirloom items to the game. It marks the first new classification of item in some time and will change how a lot of players play the game.

This new type of item doesn’t bind to you but to your account meaning you can mail it between multiple characters on your own account but not to anyone else, allowing more versatility with how you distribute your gear. For the most part these Heirloom items will be faction vendor rewards but they have been reported to show up in the occasional loot table (not confirmed). Heirloom Items have also been added to the game, denoted by yellow text and they will scale in power as you level up. These items are purchasable with your Emblems of Heroism for heroic instances and 10 man raids and are account bound.

For the most part, these items are not necessarily expected to be as incredibly powerful as their counterparts at the highest Epic level at Level 80, but they will prove to be among the best at any given level they scale too, on par or above almost any twink gear from level 10 to 70. If you are going to be leveling up a new character, having a BtA item on your account to send them can be a major boon.

Want Some Easy WoW Gold?

I recently wrote about how to get WoW gold by farming herbs. If you happened to read and and thought hey I’m off to gather me some herbs for the Auction House then you will be in for a really big bonus soon.

The new talents and class changes will go live on all realms in World of Warcraft some 5 weeks before Wrath of the Lich King Expansion is released. So what you ask? Well in this patch 3.0.1 we will have the opportunity to start leveling the new profession Inscription up to level 375, before WotLK is released. Now if you are looking to spend money this is the new talent for you, but if your looking to make money real fast start collecting herbs from every level this weekend and store it, don’t sell it yet.

First thing Thursday morning wake up and get all your herbs onto the Auction House and set the ‘Buy Out’ at obscene high amounts and watch them sell. Why do i think this will happen? Simple, the raw material for new inscription profession will be herbs for the ink for scrolls. Fantastic if your have herbalism as your profession and better if you have it already at 375.

We all know that lots of super gold rich player will have at least one level 70 waiting for this new profession and will want to be the first on their server to offer it out to other players. There will also be others who will happily drop one of their professions to take up inscription, it happened already with Jewal crafting. This will provide a lot of new interest in low-mid-high level herbs which in turn will cause an increase in the price of such items.

Now this over inflated market won’t last forever, that’s why i recommend you put your herbs on the Auction House on Thursday morning. No doubt by the weekend the innovators like us will be followed by the imitators who will flood the market with lots of herbs the week after the patch. Worse still will be the idiots who follow them and just start putting herbs back on the Auction House at the lower prices then we see everything return to the normal state.

I have 2 characters who have herbalism maxed out already so this weekend and for the next few weeks I know what I’ll be doing to make some really easy WoW gold.If you don’t have herbalism to 375 or haven’t started yet then come back soon as I intend to post a herbalism leveling guide that should be able to get you to 375 in less than 2 days flower picking.
