With the 2.4 Patch due in the World of Warcraft soon there are a few tricks and tips that will help you to farm gold. These gold farming techniques are simple to implement and will help you get the most from your profession.

Alchemy

Arcanite bars price will most probably be cut in half when Transmute Arcanite no longer has a cooldown, so get rid of the ones you have in the bank before patch 2.4 when the cooldown is removed.

Enchanting

Stock up on Void Crystals before the next patch as in 2.4 a new recipe will be introduced to shatter a Void Crystal into two Large Prismatic Shards, this will have a cooldown of 24hours it’s believed. Large Prismatic Shard are used in a lot of enchants and never really lose their price on AH. After 2.4 goes live Void Crystals prices will surely double so you can either put them back on AH or split into Large Prismatic Shards, but be warned the price of the shards will drop in time so maybe best to sell the crystals.

The biggest thing for non raiders and raiders alike will after the Sunwell patch will be the addition of new items to the game, like the new Tier 6 items, Badges of Justice rewards and reputation pvp sets, Enchanters will be in demand the first week after patch 2.4. Stack up materials for the most wanted enchants and either put them on AH or sell the enchants with mats for a discounted price.

Here are the most wanted enchants:

Boots: Boar’s Speed, Fortitude, Surefooted
Bracers: Spellpower, Superior Healing, Fortitude
Chest: Exceptional Stats, Major Resilience
Gloves: Superior Agility, Major Healing, Major Spellpower
Weapon: Deathfrost, Executioner, Mongoose, Soulfrost, Savagery, Major Healing, Major Spellpower

Herbalism

Fel Lotus on many servers sell for ridiculous amounts of gold due to their rarity but after patch 2.4 this will change so best get rid of yours now and take advantage of the increased prices.

From patch notes

• Ancient Lichen now has a chance to drop a Fel Lotus in place of random green jewelry.
• Black Lotus replaced by Fel Lotus in herbalism skinning tables for Outland creatures.
• Increased the chance that Felweed, Dreaming Glory, Ragveil, and Flame Caps will contain a Fel Lotus.

This will lead to much more Fel Lotus on the Auction House and reduce their prices, sell sell sell I say.

Jewelcrafting

In patch 2.4 spell haste will get a buff in 2.4, reducing the global cooldown on spells, this will see an increase of people looking for spell haste gems. There will also be new recipes to cut Talasite, Dawnstone and Noble Topaz into spell haste gems, this will increase the price the raw gems to make:

• Forceful Talasite
• Quick Dawnstone
• Reckless Noble Topaz
