Warcraft Leveling Guide Review

Just recently I got my hands on a copy of the new edition Elite WoW Leveling Guide, I bought the twin pack so I could level an Alliance or Horde character if I wanted to. I have to be honest at this point and say that at first look I wasn’t that impressed with my new warcraft leveling guide. I thought it was a little basic in its outlay, there were no flashy pictures or guides to help me and I thought there was also no real personality to the leveling guide. What I mean by that is that it seemed a little business like. So I decided not to write anything about it, I mean if I don’t like it then I really don’t want to be promoting it here.

After reading it though and using it to get a Blood Elf Paladin to lvl20 I changed my mind and here is why. The warcraft leveling guide is very functional, to the point and doesn’t waste my time reading information that really in the end, wont help me level up fast. I also liked the addition of the amount of XP you get for each quest as this allowed me to dumped quests that i knew were not gonna give me good XP. The path used in the guide is also straight forward and with the addition of a metamap addon this guide becomes extremely good.

What I done was, on a small piece of card noted down the locations of each quest and hand-in in order they were given. I then loaded the metamap addon (and some others I like) and imported the file as I was instructed to do. Again these instructions are concise, to the point and not confusing in anyway, this leaves very little room for errors or misunderstanding and ensures an easy installation.

When ready to start questing all I needed to do was just open up the map find my destination mark, right click it and when I got back to the main screen there was a directional arrow to follow with distance to location as well. Real simple! It is this simplicity that I found refreshing in a warcraft leveling guide. By removing all things I thought I wanted and the things I thought made a good leveling guide, what Elite WOW has done is help me speed up my learning of what quests I have to do and what the best method is to do them. This is something that people don’t really take into consideration when buying a guide, how long will it take me to read the book?

The final bonus to is the price. $25 is not a lot to pay when you consider the amount of time you save learning this stuff, and if you buy their Horde leveling guide and Alliance leveling guide together you save $10, that makes each guide only $20, now that is a real bargain. But dont take my word for it jump over to their web site and take a look at what’s on offer.
